Snip & Sketch add a text box

I can draw on a snip, but it is hard to write a note with a mouse.

Can I add a text box and  type a note on a snip?

Windows for home | Windows 10 | Settings

I understand that you want to add a text box to type a note on a snip using when using Snip & Sketch. However, I would like to inform that the feature to add a text box is currently not available.

I commend you for noticing this feature not being within Snip & Sketch. We would like to hear your thoughts and suggestions, as there may be other users with a similar requirement. Hence, I would suggest you to post a feedback in Microsoft Feedback Hub so that our developing team can review your suggestions and check if it can be included in the future updates.

    Hi Nikhar,

    I would like to see the text box into this app because will be very useful when making sops or write some How TOs. Let me know when will you plan to release this change I will be more then happy to use this product since I am using the Snipping tool. 

    Any update will be greatly appreciated.

    this is a basic feature that should be included 

    i can add text to a screenshot with my 2006 iPhone but not with my 2020 surface 7 pro????
