Snip & Sketch add a text box

I can draw on a snip, but it is hard to write a note with a mouse.

Can I add a text box and  type a note on a snip?

Windows for home | Windows 10 | Settings

I understand that you want to add a text box to type a note on a snip using when using Snip & Sketch. However, I would like to inform that the feature to add a text box is currently not available.

I commend you for noticing this feature not being within Snip & Sketch. We would like to hear your thoughts and suggestions, as there may be other users with a similar requirement. Hence, I would suggest you to post a feedback in Microsoft Feedback Hub so that our developing team can review your suggestions and check if it can be included in the future updates.

    Please add text to Snip and Sketch, this is a huge want. Thanks.

    Also, on some of the darker highlight colors is it possible to make them a little more transparent, you can not see some highlighted text underneath.

    Is there a point to having more than a 100 provide feedback who care enough to login and ask for this to be implemented; and making them wait for more than a year while not actually implementing this?

    It's like saying, here's a new version of windows and by the way, cut and paste will not be available until it is....

    Hi, I'm also going to chime in with a simple request to be able to type text in to snip and sketch. It's a great tool but missing that one single thing that would make it near perfect. 

    Also, I'd like to know if this is the most requested feature of Windows 10.

    Hi, any update on this? [its been a year though] I resorted to using a 3rd party app which is 4x the size of snip and sketch. This will greatly help everyone. Thanks in advance
