Snip & Sketch add a text box

I can draw on a snip, but it is hard to write a note with a mouse.

Can I add a text box and  type a note on a snip?

Windows for home | Windows 10 | Settings

I understand that you want to add a text box to type a note on a snip using when using Snip & Sketch. However, I would like to inform that the feature to add a text box is currently not available.

I commend you for noticing this feature not being within Snip & Sketch. We would like to hear your thoughts and suggestions, as there may be other users with a similar requirement. Hence, I would suggest you to post a feedback in Microsoft Feedback Hub so that our developing team can review your suggestions and check if it can be included in the future updates.

    This was kind of an important feature. How could they overlook such an important feature, now I have to replace it because I can  no longer send detailed instructions overseas to my collaborators. Using arrows and drawings on the snippet is not enough for detailed instructions.

    I bet MS left this feature out on purpose, because using a keyboard is so legacy. We're all expected to have an MS Surface with a pen. But then why give me a keyboard shortcut to screen capture?? MacOS screen grab utility allows me to type notes, because, I guess, unlike Windows, macOS has never had an identity crisis; it's always been a desktop operating system whereas Windows has been teetering between desktop and touch which has left us with irritations like this.
