I can draw on a snip, but it is hard to write a note with a mouse.

Can I add a text box and  type a note on a snip?

Hi,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

I understand that you want to add a text box to type a note on a snip using when using Snip & Sketch. However, I would like to inform that the feature to add a text box is currently not available.

I commend you for noticing this feature not being within Snip & Sketch. We would like to hear your thoughts and suggestions, as there may be other users with a similar requirement. Hence, I would suggest you to post a feedback in Microsoft Feedback Hub so that our developing team can review your suggestions and check if it can be included in the future updates.

Regards,

Nikhar Khare

This is so hilarious that Microsoft hasn't addressed this in any way, shape, or form. Ridiculous oversights like these are what keeps MS flopping around to stay afloat. Such a simple, easy feature to add that would make customers go from complaining in a forum read only by other users combating the same problem (but clearly not by Microsoft) to nodding their head in approval and appreciation of a utility with....utility and not frustration. How can anyone not see the necessity of having the ability to add typed text, let alone a team of people, and even the company as a whole? Not one person at MS understands the benefit of addressing this? Not ONE? *mind blown*
