Snip & Sketch add a text box

I can draw on a snip, but it is hard to write a note with a mouse.

Can I add a text box and  type a note on a snip?

I understand that you want to add a text box to type a note on a snip using when using Snip & Sketch. However, I would like to inform that the feature to add a text box is currently not available.

I commend you for noticing this feature not being within Snip & Sketch. We would like to hear your thoughts and suggestions, as there may be other users with a similar requirement. Hence, I would suggest you to post a feedback in Microsoft Feedback Hub so that our developing team can review your suggestions and check if it can be included in the future updates.

    I too am unsubscribing from this post… Microsoft has zero customer service and is not worthy of our patronage.

    While waiting for Microsoft to take action I’ve downloaded and used the open sourced Greenshot app which does have all of this built in and haven’t looked back since. It’s been tiring to stay on this thread while getting patronised. Bye bye.

    I have subscribed to this post for 2 years since I wrote it and about once a week I get a reply from other users who are flabbergasted at why text box is not a feature in Snip and Sketch. We, the users, are not being heard. I am unsubscribing to this post because I am tire of reading comments from those who strong agree but it just doesn't matter.

    lol. 16 pages and 2 years of pretty much, huh? you can't type text? 😂🤣 this is so classic MS. Answer really is pay a little and use Snagit. You won't regret it.
