Snip & Sketch add a text box

I can draw on a snip, but it is hard to write a note with a mouse.

Can I add a text box and  type a note on a snip?

I understand that you want to add a text box to type a note on a snip using when using Snip & Sketch. However, I would like to inform that the feature to add a text box is currently not available.

I commend you for noticing this feature not being within Snip & Sketch. We would like to hear your thoughts and suggestions, as there may be other users with a similar requirement. Hence, I would suggest you to post a feedback in Microsoft Feedback Hub so that our developing team can review your suggestions and check if it can be included in the future updates.

    Yes, please add a Text Box option. I've used the competitor software Snagit but in my new job, this company uses Snip & Sketch. Snagit was great - text box feature, numbering feature so that you can add directions and comments.

    Guys, add this feature. It's a no-brainer. We want to be able to type in the screenshot images.

    Indeed, very important to have a text box - to quickly type - rather then trying to write with a ballpen.
