Snip & Sketch add a text box

I can draw on a snip, but it is hard to write a note with a mouse.

Can I add a text box and  type a note on a snip?

I understand that you want to add a text box to type a note on a snip using when using Snip & Sketch. However, I would like to inform that the feature to add a text box is currently not available.

I commend you for noticing this feature not being within Snip & Sketch. We would like to hear your thoughts and suggestions, as there may be other users with a similar requirement. Hence, I would suggest you to post a feedback in Microsoft Feedback Hub so that our developing team can review your suggestions and check if it can be included in the future updates.

    Yes! We need a text box in snip & sketch. I use this function prolifically to instruct and train others and being able to type within the snip would make the process tremendously more efficient. Please Please give us a text box. thank you.

    expecting Microsoft for considering this at the early

    Microsoft has NOT shown any connectivity to this feedback tool, or this request (add text/arrows to snips) for many, MANY years.

    Do not expect Microsoft to read this or to reply. :-(
