Snip & Sketch add a text box

I can draw on a snip, but it is hard to write a note with a mouse.

Can I add a text box and  type a note on a snip?

Windows for home | Windows 10 | Settings

I understand that you want to add a text box to type a note on a snip using when using Snip & Sketch. However, I would like to inform that the feature to add a text box is currently not available.

I commend you for noticing this feature not being within Snip & Sketch. We would like to hear your thoughts and suggestions, as there may be other users with a similar requirement. Hence, I would suggest you to post a feedback in Microsoft Feedback Hub so that our developing team can review your suggestions and check if it can be included in the future updates.

    I have the same issues when you want to add notes to Snip & Sketch. using the pin to write notes is hard and looks unprofessional. It would be nice if they could add text boxes that can be moved to the area you need on the picture to add notes.

    Just use Microsoft Paint... Windows+Shift+S, open up Paint, paste it in, click the "A" tool for text box... voila
    Not sure why Snip & Sketch hasn't prioritized this, but don't need to worry about it anymore
