Snip & Sketch add a text box

I can draw on a snip, but it is hard to write a note with a mouse.

Can I add a text box and  type a note on a snip?

Windows for home | Windows 10 | Settings

I understand that you want to add a text box to type a note on a snip using when using Snip & Sketch. However, I would like to inform that the feature to add a text box is currently not available.

I commend you for noticing this feature not being within Snip & Sketch. We would like to hear your thoughts and suggestions, as there may be other users with a similar requirement. Hence, I would suggest you to post a feedback in Microsoft Feedback Hub so that our developing team can review your suggestions and check if it can be included in the future updates.

    Indeed, very important to have a text box - to quickly type - rather then trying to write with a ballpen.

    We switched to ShareX https://getsharex.com/

    ShareX can have 'too many features' but the results look good for what we need.

    Microsoft should be able to add text and arrows to their SNIP tools, but it is obvious they do not read these forums any more. :-(

    It's been two years - being able to add text is a basic feature and really prevents this tool from being useful
