Snip & Sketch add a text box

I can draw on a snip, but it is hard to write a note with a mouse.

Can I add a text box and  type a note on a snip?

I understand that you want to add a text box to type a note on a snip using when using Snip & Sketch. However, I would like to inform that the feature to add a text box is currently not available.

I commend you for noticing this feature not being within Snip & Sketch. We would like to hear your thoughts and suggestions, as there may be other users with a similar requirement. Hence, I would suggest you to post a feedback in Microsoft Feedback Hub so that our developing team can review your suggestions and check if it can be included in the future updates.

    Completely agree that a way to type a note is essential. I don't have a pen and touchscreen and writing with a mouse is brutal and ugly.

    Additionally, please make it easier to rotate the ruler.

    This question was posted in 2019. We are in 2023 and still no possibility to add a simple text into a snip. This is incredible.

    Even MS Paint could do it back in '98. That was 24 years ago. Come on it's been 3 years since you noticed people wanted this feature? How hard is it to add this feature?! Pathetic response. I expect you don't have a job anymore

    Can't believe this still isn't implemented. Even with the Mac or iPhone, you take a screen shot and you are provided with a text overlay option too. Seems like the people producing Snip and Sketch don't use this themselves!
