I have a few Windows 10 Pro x64 1903 (with 2019-05 or 06 cumulative update) having an issue where when you use the modern Settings app > Devices > Printers & Scanners, when you click on an existing printer, the printer below it does not drop down making space for the the "Open queue" and "Manage" buttons, instead the buttons overlay the lower printer, but won't allow you to click on the buttons, therefore you can't manage the printer.

I don't have a fix for this but going directly through Control Panel -> Hardware and Sound -> Devices and Printers and managing from there is a good work around.

No, this aproach is not solve the problem. The buttons apears same as before.

I believe you are confusing the new "Metro" Settings menu with the legacy Control panel. Inside Control Panel, you can set the default printer as normal.

This thread is the closest I've come across that sounds like what I have started experiencing. Suddenly I cannot print. I have checked the default and is correct but anything in Word 10, or online will ONLY ask "save print output as" or "save as PDF"...will not let me print anything. Did an update cause this? This is maddening. And yes, my printer is set as the default, and not on "save".

    Thanks for any help!

Good to see others are having this issue besides me, my initial thought was its a display issue, but the fact that I can manage using my admin account seems to fit.  We are also seeing that users are unable to go to either "Printer Properties" or "Printer Preferences" as well.  When you click on either, it appears to open, but doesn't.  Wondering if that correlates to the same issue. with the management of the printers.
