Windows 10 1903 can't manage a printer

I have a few Windows 10 Pro x64 1903 (with 2019-05 or 06 cumulative update) having an issue where when you use the modern Settings app > Devices > Printers & Scanners, when you click on an existing printer, the printer below it does not drop down making space for the the "Open queue" and "Manage" buttons, instead the buttons overlay the lower printer, but won't allow you to click on the buttons, therefore you can't manage the printer.

    Found a work around..

    1. Select the printer you wish to manage
    2. Use the "tab" key on your keyboard to jump to the next button until you reach "manage"
    3. Use the "enter" key on your keyboard to activate the "manage" button

    doesn't fix the issue but at least work can be done....

    I don't have a fix for this but going directly through Control Panel -> Hardware and Sound -> Devices and Printers and managing from there is a good work around.

    No, this aproach is not solve the problem. The buttons apears same as before.

    I believe you are confusing the new "Metro" Settings menu with the legacy Control panel. Inside Control Panel, you can set the default printer as normal.

    Thank you for your help, you’re very kind. I belive the GUI must be serve the users needs, and when they feel unconfortable theyself for an error, the support could not say them: this is the other or preferred way to do something.

    I am not apart of Microsoft support team. I just want to show you how to manage your printers and avoid the above glitch.
