I have an HP Envy with Windows 10 and can't seem to get my webcam / camera to work.

It is not listed on the Device Manager list.

Thanks for the help.

I have Positivo BGH i5 webcan not listed on Device Manager

In device manager if its not configured or installed correctly select >View from the tabs at the top of Device Manager screen and tick show hidden devices it should be in there. NOTE: it may report a different name as the DataBase for windows 10 is not as full as older DBs for security or restrictive measures. I use driverscloud to find specific models and positivo is not listed? however I did find support for the BGH. Your model number will help greatly here and should be displayed on the bottom of your sevice. also you can get direct help  see below

    here https://www.positivobgh.com/products/support

I also check the windows catalogue for you and found that it being an i5 it may use the Intel chip set. also on your device may use a camera different to intel like realtek for example.  You can see camera drivers for your device in the catalogue

    Here: https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=Positivo

Tip: FOR ACCURACY if your device is shown in hidden devices you want to open it by right click select properties, then from the tabs select details then hardware ID

You can copy this line of text and paste into a search link bing or google etc. This should identify both make and model of webcam. please note that you can also check in the windows catalogue for matching hardware ID based on what you find

    Like So

Hope this helps PS if the device name is correct in the catalogue you must also check the Hardware ID/matching Device ID mentioned above is the same as one or both sections if not it may or may not work (NOTE: if you do this, you at your own will and not on my advice this information is specifically to help ) and in the event that it does work functionality maybe limited!!!

Kind Regards. Please Vote if you find this info helpful.
