Camera / Webcam not on device manager list - Windows 10

HI there,

I have an HP Envy with Windows 10 and can't seem to get my webcam / camera to work.

It is not listed on the Device Manager list.

Strangely, my camera appeared again in the device manager without me doing anything. But it is greyed in the list, and the problem still remains; the camera does not work (and the error "no camera attached" still occurs)

HI there,

I have an Acer Aspire V 17 Nitro - Black Edition with Windows 10 and can't seem to get my webcam / camera to work.

It is not listed on the Device Manager list, not even in the hidden devices.

OK...I looked down in the string and I think others had the same issues. I did all this but how do I re-install? The camera is now completely gone.

Never mind. It's gone in the device management folders. But, went back to Teams and now my correct cameras are visible. Go figure...magic.

Theoriginalsuki: did you send an email or did you call them?

And did you contact Microsoft or your laptop provider?

I will seek out help because I really can't find a solution
