Camera / Webcam not on device manager list - Windows 10

HI there,

I have an HP Envy with Windows 10 and can't seem to get my webcam / camera to work.

It is not listed on the Device Manager list.

    Have the same problem with a Dell 3440 running win10, first time the camera stopped working was after a Windows Update, KB4537572, removed that and camera started working again.

    But it stopped again a few weeks later and nothing appears in Device Manager and no camera hardware is detected when scanning for new devices.

    Looking at windows updates from about the time it stopped there is only one showing KB4552152 on the 28/04 but that one says you can't uninstall it

    Tried to find a driver to manually install but can't find one on either the Dell or MS website. Tried about 3 suggested fixes from YouTube videos (there are lots) but cannot get camera working

    Hi all,

    I have had the exact same problem: the camera just disappeared from the device manager and there is no way to get it back. My laptop is an ASUS VivoBook R558UQ.

    If anyone has a solution eventually, it would be very helpful for all of us!

    Hi Mark,

    I have lenevo ideapad S540, upon checking on my device manager i haven't found camera tab neither on hidden devices.

    Kindly help me. As i have to attend a meeting.

    I have a HP Pavilion 15 Notebook PC and can't seem to get my camera to work. It is not listed on the device manager list.

    First of all, Under Device Manager, there is no view button. 

    Secondly, there is a uninstall device button, but it isn't highlighted so can't uninstall.

    This is a Logitech webcam.  It work earlier today,  I closed it and later went back, I now get error message.

    I need help having a zoom meeting in morning.
