Sketchpad has completely disappeared from Ink Workspace

I have tried rebooting and turning Ink workspace on and off from settings and taskbar. It is only showing me Whiteboard and Fullscreen snip. Did Windows do away with sketchpad, forcing me to login with a Windows ID to use Whiteboard? Or is this a bug from a recent update? Or is there anything else I can try?

    We can still tell MicroSoft to bring the Sketchpad back by simply give them a feedback .

    I never used sketchpad before so I don't know what is different in Snip & Sketch..

    Thanks for your response. Could you please name that update in specific? (in KB.... format)

    Windows automatically installed the update that I had previously deleted (KB4512508).

    Windows Ink Workspace is now the small menu on the bottom right of the screen that everyone is complaining about:

    After deleting this update (KB4512508) and restarting, Ink Workspace is back to the large tiles:

    For now, this is the solution to changing Ink back to normal. However, be aware that your software will not be completely up to date. Only do this if you absolutely need Windows Ink in this format.

    Thanks for sharing this. I already tried it but the problem is we don't get screen sketch back anymore. All we have is snip and sketch; it's really frustrating to have "snip and sketch" opened whenever trying to take a screenshot. "Screen sketch" was way more convenient to use.

    I see. I‘m relatively new to getting re-acquainted with Windows. I never used screen sketch before, so I really don’t know what the differences are.

    Windows key + PrtScn should save a screenshot of the whole screen in Screenshots folder.

    Alt+Prt Scn will save a screenshot of active window in Screenshots (and uplod to OneDrive)

    Windows+Shift+S will open snipping tool for segments or entire screen. 

    Snip & Sketch allows you to annotate an image of your current screen. 

    (Windows+Alt+PrtScn saves a screenshot of my active window in Captures. I believe it is using Xbox Game Bar.)

    On my Surface, I can also press Power+Volume up button for a screenshot

    Maybe screen sketch had more features or was more user-friendly?

    I am able to do all I need with those tools.
