Sketchpad has completely disappeared from Ink Workspace

I have tried rebooting and turning Ink workspace on and off from settings and taskbar. It is only showing me Whiteboard and Fullscreen snip. Did Windows do away with sketchpad, forcing me to login with a Windows ID to use Whiteboard? Or is this a bug from a recent update? Or is there anything else I can try?

I'd just like to add my voice crowd. I much preferred the sketchpad the the whiteboard. I don't see why we can't just have both options. Also, using the whiteboard when I wasn't connected to the internet kept causing a error message to pop up - very annoying.

I agree. The new Whiteboard is inferior to the Sketchpad. Sketchpad had all kinds of pens and pencils to use, now we get a corporate friendly presentation program for people in conference rooms. The whole idea of having a Surface computer (I have a Surface Studio), was to give people the creativity tools that we needed, and Sketchbook's pens and pencils and controls did this.

This is completely mystifying, weird and not helping by taking the pens away. I do not want to draw in markers and glitter.

Please bring the pens and pencils with the controls back at least in Whiteboard.

Really unhappy with this "update. Sketchpad with a pencil was a quick and easy way to do simple sketches, and I used it daily. The replacements are downgrades in every sense. Pretty baffling decision overall.

I am too, it's really disappointing. I don't like to have to roll back updates because I always feel like I'm opening up my computer to vulnerabilities but I'm seriously considering it for this update.

Updates should IMPROVE capability, not remove features and functionality. Who's genius idea was this?!
