Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1903 KB4517211 (Causing HP Printer Spooler to Stop)

The Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1903 KB4517211 is causing the printer spooler service to stop and the installed printer is no longer recognized.  It is an HP Officejet Pro 8210 printer.  When I go into services.msc I can start the spooler and my printer then reappears but as soon as I try to print the spooler service stops.  If I uninstall update KB4517211, my printer again works.

Secondary Concern: I have temporarily halted windows updates to avoid KB4517211 from again downloading.  How to I stop this update from installing permanently since I will have to resume updates at some juncture.

    For me kb4517389 really seems to have brought the solution!

    HP Officejet Pro 8740 and HP Deskjet 3720 both work again flawlessly!

    @Carlos: I think the HP OJ pro 8725 is nearly same machine as my 8740; I think it should work again.

    I am the original poster of this thread.  I second what WulfGerdts posted. KB4517389 fixes the printer spooler service issue and I am able to print (HP OfficeJet Pro 8210).

    After reading this latest post, I installed 4517389 also, and am able to print once again (HP OfficeJet Pro 8210).

    I Have the HP 8730 (same family) If I try to install I have the message that cannot found the Driver.

    So I tried to install manually as HP 8730 PCL, tryed to print and worked

    (I don't know the difference between Hp 8730 Officejet All in One drivere, HP 8730 pcl and HP 8730 PS driver)
