You have to get out of your loop of trying to restore. If the phone is running now it does no good to do any type of reset until it starts properly. It will be using what is on the phone which is not working.
Next time through WDRT use not detected and Lumia.
Do not try to restore.
Leave it alone and let the apps download.
Everything is still updating.
It does no good to look at the apps list. If you want to see what is downloading go to the store, top left menu, downloads and updates. Start updates if it is asking. The store will close when it tries to update, that's ok, just let it update and go back
and watch till all is updated. Then look around!
Wait till all apps are updated.
EDIT: Then, connect the phone to the PC to see if it is detected.
If it is detected properly and is not working correctly It will do no good to try anything else with the WDRT.
The second time you used the not detected device with the tool it went right in to installing, right, It did not download again. What does this tell you?
Power, volume down is a soft reset. Have no idea why you were using that,
Do you even know what version is installing?
Is it the latest?
Did you look to see if there was another update available??
Since the PC was detecting the phone prior to this I saw no reason why the WDRT would not detect the phone properly. I would think you are using the same hardware to connect to the PC now.
