Gary, what is that **** or does it matter? Anyway, I haven't yet Copied the Photos onto my PC using the cable. That should go really fast.
In your 8/27 reply you said "I'm sure you have a Pictures folder for your mobile on your PC." Are you saying that I should see some folder on my PC called Mobile? If so, maybe that only happens if you're using OneDrive, which I'm not. I've tried using OneDrive
and I was constantly fighting it or learning it so I just gave up and I never connected my PC to it. I know my phone is automatically connected to it.
As an interesting side note, I'm a folders type guy. My Outlook, my Internet Explorer FAVs, my Pictures and my Documents are built on using folders. I've tried putting a folder of Photos onto my phone one time, hoping that I could then find all of those by
opening that folder if it was displayed when I tapped Photos and it wasn't. I guess the Windows 10 Mobile OS just wants to see files with image extension names to be displayed in Photos and not any folders. That's what I'd guessed anyhow.
I should tell you that I haven't been "skipping the SD card fix" on every startup as you must be thinking. It used to do it every now and then so finally one time I'd gotten so sick of hitting SKIP or of letting it SCAN it & it finding nothing wrong that
I just went thru the big process of moving every single Photo taken, Saved, PrintScreen, etc. that was on it over to the Phone. Then I formatted that SD card. Ever since then, no more problems.
Well, except for now as my whole Operating System is taking a dump, that SD card isn't even being recognized by my computer's File Explorer like it always has been in the past.
I've cable-connected my phone to my PC lots of times to go get any photos out of Phone > Pictures > Camera Roll to be saved on my PC which is where I safely store my stuff. I even backup my PC for safety.
Lastly, you said that I'd said something about saved email pictures. I don't know where you got that. Maybe when I told you that I email pictures from my phone to myself so that
I get them in the Outlook 2016 on my PC and I can save them? That's the only thing I do that's anywhere near what you must think I said.
No problem. Thanks for all of your help. I really do need it and appreciate it. :-)
