2 days ago i upgraded my windows 10 to build 1903 , since then ,

randomly and during any activity (gaming , watching a video ..etc) ,

screen with the word "locking" in the middle appears for half a second and my laptop goes into sleep mode

and then i have to turn it on again

this never happened before the update , i tried to reset and fresh start but, nothing worked , and now i can't get back to previous build

what do i do ?

HELP , PLEASE

SOLUTION

Hey guys

So, I solved the issue (for me, at least) a long time ago but forgot to report back. My apologies

Basically,

Settings -> power and sleep -> additional power settings -> change advanced power settings -> battery

Then, change critical battery action and low battery action to do nothing both on battery and plugged in

I don't know if others already solved the problem In a different way, but i Hope that helps

Have a good day

    Hi guys,

Do any of you found the solution to this problem?

I had this problem too and I've tried all those methods in this forum and another source that I've found but this problem still happens.

I've got the same case as Alfianap (when I playing games), even I re-installed my Windows and my games too but this problem still happens.

I really frustrated with this problem, please any of you know how to fix this problem?

The battery has been identified as the culprit in several of these cases. On my HP I found that one of the two battery hold in tabs was in the off position allowing the battery to be loosely connected. The power cord often wiggles out partially from moving the laptop around and intermittently disconnects. I pushed in the battery and set the lock tab. I'll have to see if this fixes the problem. I'm pretty sure it will.

Try this. Remove the battery and put it aside and use the computer on AC power. Prior to removing the battery check the charge level. Is it fully charged?
