2 days ago i upgraded my windows 10 to build 1903 , since then ,
randomly and during any activity (gaming , watching a video ..etc) ,
screen with the word "locking" in the middle appears for half a second and my laptop goes into sleep mode
and then i have to turn it on again
this never happened before the update , i tried to reset and fresh start but, nothing worked , and now i can't get back to previous build
what do i do ?

So, I solved the issue (for me, at least) a long time ago but forgot to report back. My apologies
Basically,
Settings -> power and sleep -> additional power settings -> change advanced power settings -> battery
Then, change critical battery action and low battery action to do nothing both on battery and plugged in
I don't know if others already solved the problem In a different way, but i Hope that helps

But that takes forever and the whole cycle happens for no good reason -- Microsoft, are you listening to all of us?
I think we all know the answer to that one.
What I am saying above is that it takes quite a while to shut down -- and your computer may still be in the shutting-down process while you're pressing the power button to get it going again. When it's fully shut down, the power button should work.

What to do when it won't wake right away after pressing the power button?
I haven't even had my computer a year.
It is unfair imho to critique Microsoft too carefully on this issue as the manufacturers of the PCs make many enhancements or deficits to bios settings
I do not think it is unfair to critique Microsoft on this issue. They are getting so many reports from so many users -- thousands! -- with so many different types of hardware that the problem is clearly with Windows.
It's not like they're a little mom-and-pop shop and don't have the resources to address this, if they want to.
C'mon Microsoft, really look at this!
