Windows locking into sleep mode

2 days ago i upgraded my windows 10 to build 1903 , since then ,

randomly and during any activity (gaming , watching a video ..etc) , 

screen with the word "locking" in the middle appears for half a second and my laptop goes into sleep mode 

and then i have to turn it on again 

this never happened before the update , i tried to reset and fresh start but, nothing worked , and now i can't get back to previous build 

what do i do ?

So, I solved the issue (for me, at least) a long time ago but forgot to report back. My apologies

Basically,

Settings -> power and sleep -> additional power settings -> change advanced power settings -> battery

Then, change critical battery action and low battery action to do nothing both on battery and plugged in

I don't know if others already solved the problem In a different way, but i Hope that helps

    It is unfair imho to critique Microsoft too carefully on this issue as the manufacturers of the PCs make many enhancements or deficits to bios settings 

    I do not think it is unfair to critique Microsoft on this issue. They are getting so many reports from so many users -- thousands! -- with so many different types of hardware that the problem is clearly with Windows.

    It's not like they're a little mom-and-pop shop and don't have the resources to address this, if they want to.

    C'mon Microsoft, really look at this!

    Yes. If this was caused by a Version Update then for 10 days you can roll it back in Settings>Update & Security>Recovery and then hide it until it matures using the Hide Updates Tool which is explained more here:

    After 10 days you can reinstall the older version using downloads available from Microsoft TechBench here: https://tb.rg-adguard.net/public.php

    I got this problem after replacing the battery. Did you replace your battery again, and did that fix the problem? Compatible battery? (not original)?
