Official Android support for microsoft lumia 950xl

I'm die heart fan of windows phone specially 950xl device, but unfortunately Microsoft has decided to stop support this platform.

As Microsoft is going to drop support for window 10 mobile as off December 10, 2019, lots of applications will also drop a support for same specially whatsapp. So I recommend that Microsoft should officially release Android rom for lumia devices (mine is 950xl) so that at least windows users can migrate to android easily without  purchasing new android device ("Reusing hardware").

Or is there any way to install android (may be unofficial support) on lumia 950xl so that I can migrate from windows to android after December 10, 2019.

    If MS don't want to reconsider ending their support they should release the open source windows phone OS to enabling developers start building the bridge between windows and Android.

    That was already done back in 2015 under the name Windows Bridge for Android (project “Astoria”). It was killed less than a year later basically because no one was interested, although the official wording was a lot more diplomatic. More details here:

    This implies MS is currently operating in good faith towards their customers. Which is absolutely not the case.

    whats worse?

    Making a bad product that no one buys or likes

    Making a good product that people who buy like, but shutter the product line entirely and disable the products functionality to spite the people who purchased it, because it didnt completely outsell the two competitors.

    I have to disagree with this; windows phone wasn't a failure. It's a lovely platform specially with a good phone like the Lumia 950XL. It is even better than iPhone and Android OS. We just need to decide whether to migrate to another OS with ROM or to use a modulator enabling us to open all third party applications which were blocked such as whatsapp and others. MS must feel obliged to make this happen for their customers 

    Make your decision based on the fact that Microsoft will do absolutely nothing. As far as MS is concerned Windows Mobile is dead and buried.
