There are no such apps in my app list. I'm trying to download from a camera, so none of the iPhone or Android fixes are relevant, and I've tried all the others. Still waiting for someone from Microsoft to post an update.
Photos app freezes upon import / photo importing problems
Hello, I was trying to import photos from my iPhone via charging cable and upon import the photo app freezes. I reset my phone and tried again and it worked for the first import but another problem is that I can only upload 3-4 videos at a time before the photos app says something went wrong and I have to start the whole process all over again. Because of this, when I go to import again it just freezes once it hits my total photo and video count. This problem has been persistent ever since I started uploading photos and videos this past year or two and it really hinders my progress. Thanks for any help.

2019-12-09T22:32:30+00:00 Wow interesting, I'll have to try this and see if it works for me. I ended up just copying the HEIC images from my iPhone to my laptop (which took a couple of tries).

2019-12-09T18:59:54+00:00 well we're into 11 pages of don't work!
Funnily enough I've been struggling syncing with my macbook pro too. I use photos to sync and it will error on a number of photo's or videos. I dumped them into a one drive folder so I could get them on a pc at work but ended up with a load of greyed out files on the iPhone that don't show in a browser or pc file explorer. I had to log out of one drive and back in to clear them out.
I've ended up sending them to myself in messenger believe it or not and downloading from there on the PC!!
PITA.
I've got through the files now one by one on the macbook which was a right pain as if it errors you loose the iPhone in the list in photos and have to disconnect and reconnect to it back. Ive considered paying for the extra storage with apple for iCloud and use that to sync.
Wouldn't be such a big issue but i like to keep a copy on the laptop and that is then backed up to a nas drive jic something happens to my stuff. Don't want to trust anyone else with my 1's and 0's :D
