Photos app freezes upon import / photo importing problems

Hello, I was trying to import photos from my iPhone via charging cable and upon import the photo app freezes. I reset my phone and tried again and it worked for the first import but another problem is that I can only upload 3-4 videos at a time before the photos app says something went wrong and I have to start the whole process all over again. Because of this, when I go to import again it just freezes once it hits my total photo and video count. This problem has been persistent ever since I started uploading photos and videos this past year or two and it really hinders my progress. Thanks for any help.

    Hi G,

    I found a way.

The iphone needs to be unlocked when you are doing this or 'internal storage' is empty.

I went into internal storage there was some file there,  I opened it and saw these:

All of them had my pictures in them. The last one had the photos I was looking for, took about 30secs to show them all.

Then I selected them and dragged them onto my desktop.

I am using windows 10 and an iphone X

Hope that helps end this infuriating business.

    BW

How do I unsubcribe from this. Since my photo are down able to download from my phone....I cannot seem to unsubscribe. I can't the ellipsis as described in the directions from Microsoft to unsubscribe...HELP...

    Thanks,

    John

I have had the same issue, don’t bother looking for an ellipsis, it doesn’t exist (at least when browsing on a phone). Instead, look for the “subscribe” button on the original post. Click that and an “unsubscribe” option should pop up.
