Texting multiple recipients in Your Phone app

I also want a solution to this.  Multiple-recipient texts are so important for work and play! There is no way to do it beyond the 'old-school' method of copying and pasting comma-separated recipients or replying to a multiple-recipient text that has already been started.  Fix it, MS!

Ok. another workaround along the lines of starting a text on the phone.

Open Your Phone app on the computer. Go to the Phone Screen section. Since you are remotely operating the phone you can mouse over to the messaging app, everything works, and you are still on the PC.

How nice would it be if someone at Microsoft would respond here and tell us what the plan is?

Let's face it; Microsoft has the innate ability to even screw up the preparation of a box lunch! All of the items (sandwich, fruit, dessert and a drink-in-a carton) will be placed neatly along side the box. Envision the "box" to be the size of a bushel basket, with a lid. Somehow, some way, MS will monkey it up! By the time MS gets around to it, the sandwich will have stale bread with mold in it, the fruit will have a bite eaten out of it, someone will have stepped on the dessert, the drink carton will have developed a leak and the liquid will have evaporated. When it's finally delivered to you several days after you ordered it, the box has been crushed and you can't begin to determine if what you received is what you ordered!! So, you call customer service . . . . And that's exactly where we're at today!

It's a **** app with little or no hope of ever competing with anyone else in the messaging arena. It's what we've all come to know and expect. It's one of many factors that have caused me to replace two Windows laptops with Chromebooks. When my desktop gets a little older and MS manages to make it totally unusable by forcing updates that will inevitably destroy the sound, graphics and networking functionality (or some others), it too will end up in the "box."

Regain your sanity. Scrap the **** app and and move on down the road y'all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I, too, looked forward to using Your Phone Companion -- and hit the same wall you did.

I went back to Google's Messages for Android, which works fine for multiple addresses -- and you can attach stuff. The Photos function is already available through OneDrive, and who cares about notifications?
