The ASUS stuff may not be effecting this but you might search for the control panel and Programs and Features and see if they are installed or at least check the files below to see a date.. If there were error messages on your system in the Event viewer or you saw repeating problems in a performance graph, it might give us some clues. Try typing perfmon /rel in a run box and check the graph. You can go day by day and get that info.

You seem to have that IIS APPool user set up on your system. The log shows it is being ignored but if you could remove that user and I assume it is a default user. IIS has caused problems under certain circumstances and one is if the install is only a partial one.
I have seen folks have problems with graphic cards. Having the latest update as well as for other devices may help..
Still no luck at finding some sort of reasonable solution for your situation. I assume you do not have an image of your current install, is there any chance one could be made, even at this late date?
