    same here.

this is not tho only thing that disappears without trace or notice., most seem multi national corporations related.

certain items of convenience have silently gone awol on supermarket shelves, not just one supermarket, but at least 3, all at the same time. A product just disappears off the shelf, without notice, and no one knows a thing. Tried ringing the 1800 customer service number on label, no reply and leave recorded message.

    Nothing on search engines,  NOTHING.

has MP3 rocket gone awol much the same in principle as other products, just vanish off the planet, ( Earth ) ?

Is this some G20 conspiracy, again ?

Hello Peter, Yes the sudden disappearance without notice is disturbing AND bad form, but I think there is a logical explanation : For example, no one wanted to deal with the responses... Let us just hope if it is bankruptcy, that the company will reorganize... I JUST WISH I COULD GET ONE PRINCIPAL'S ATTENTION & have one conversation... In any case, we will all work this out & end up with a great alternative. I just know it. :)

    Thanks MikaelaLarsen

Further searches said same, some sort of money problem.

It happens with free for life software / anything else for that matter, well, makes sense, "for life", till go bust.

Hope there is an alternative soon, please post if there is, I am no "under the hood" IT expert, I am sure those who are will test the alternatives.

    Cheers

mp3 rocket offers "free" software but they also offer subscriptions.. I enlisted with a "life-time" membership.. I have been very satisfied with the availability of titles and the support from mp3.. im sorry to see them go.. it's strange that there has been no news coverage of this "event"..

Right... IF we had known, I am certain most Lifetime Members would have agreed to more money... I would have paid 20 per year, @ least... Lets just hope some of those involved with Rocket come out with another site just as great soon ! Meanwhile, I am still looking... Stay in touch :)
