Is Mp3 rocket shut down?

I am glad to see i am not alone.  I have used this for over 10 years. Normally when there is a problem i can go to facebook and type a message and someone will reply.  This time i got nothing  and other messages on line say they are out of buss.  Like you when i try to download it comes up 404.  Does anyone know of another site that is safe and free?  I really miss this site

Hi Robin... Distressing, isn't it ? :O   I do not know what actually happened to MP3 Rocket, & either does anyone else (until a principal steps up)... Actually, anything could have happened... (Although, clearly, they are DISAPPEARED)...I am also looking for another site & working on putting together something else... It is odd that nothing else appears to be out there... If you used MP3 Rocket for 10 years, then you know as well as I do that UTUBE was not an issue for them... 99 percent of the downloads were personal file sharing... Anyway, lets stay in touch here & work on this... I have some ideas & I am also working on finding out what actually happened to MP3 Rocket... As a Lifetime Member, I really want to know. Lets look for a solution together... I will keep writing back here. Thanks Mikaela

Mp3 rocket says website mp3rocket.me Ip address has changed. I get 404 forbidden website error. Itried reinstalling with anti virus turned off still it says website does not exist and my file is corrupted. I fully scanned my pc and found no errors.

Hi Super Shadowass. Mine went down the last week of June. In the 13 years I had owned a LIFETIME MEMBERSHIP, it had NEVER not worked !!! Initially, I thought it must be erring for the first time... Never occurred to me that MP3 Rocket & Rocket Pro had DISAPPEARED (until I tried to go on the member site & find out what was wrong... :O  Well, they disappeared... Hoping we can find out what happened eventually from those who really know, & put together an alternative... Personally, I will need lots of help with that...

this is not tho only thing that disappears without trace or notice., most seem multi national corporations related.

certain items of convenience have silently gone awol on supermarket shelves, not just one supermarket, but at least 3, all at the same time. A product just disappears off the shelf, without notice, and no one knows a thing. Tried ringing the 1800 customer service number on label, no reply and leave recorded message. 

Nothing on search engines,  NOTHING.

has MP3 rocket gone awol much the same in principle as other products, just vanish off the planet, ( Earth ) ?

Is this some G20 conspiracy, again ?

Hello Peter, Yes the sudden disappearance without notice is disturbing AND bad form, but I think there is a logical explanation : For example, no one wanted to deal with the responses... Let us just hope if it is bankruptcy, that the company will reorganize... I JUST WISH I COULD GET ONE PRINCIPAL'S ATTENTION & have one conversation... In any case, we will all work this out & end up with a great alternative. I just know it. :)

I know... I remain astonished that NOT ONE SITE is discussing MP3 Rocket, & MP3 Rocket Pro's sudden disappearance !!!  You would think that--- NOT ONLY would MEMBERS (at least) receive notification & an explanation--- (they had ALL our emails, etc)--- but ALSO, that MP3 Rocket would have @ LEAST left a message on their site, or SOMETHING !!! ALSO, I cannot find any other discussions regarding same... I think many may not yet realize the site is down !!! My MP3 Rocket Pro only stopped working on the download a few days ago... Other areas of my app still work... I think many members probably do not go in as often as I did, & may only go in when they hear a song they want to add to their computer... I KNOW there were HUNDREDS/Thousands using MP3 Rocket... Lets hope we can discover what happened --- AND PUT TOGETHER an alternative.... >>> YES, VERY WEIRD about NO NOTICE & NOTHING online... SHOCKING...

do you if/when it will return to working or do you know if someone is even working on it
