Is Mp3 rocket shut down?

I received a message saying that they were shutting Down there P2P client and Returning to A new youtube downloader, but I have not seen anything yet.

REALLY ??? You received a message ??? From who ??? You mean from Rocket ??? PLEASE explain... (Also, why would YouTube have anything to do with the rest of the site going down? Relatively few of the downloads are from YouTube)... PLEASE write back. I am very interested in any info regarding Rocket messages (Messages which originated from Rocket personnel)... TY for posting

Lifetime member also....Had issues last week and thought OK will just reinstall it and now I can't get it back...…...Are there any Legitimate sites that Work like MP3 Rocket used to?

Right! The site is gone, ( & so is the download)... We are all still waiting & HOPING they reorganize & come back, or that they sell the site... I think they will do one or the other, & it is hard waiting without any info... And there REALLY IS NOT ANY INFO, regardless of what you may hear... Anyway, the worst news is that there are ZERO sites like Rocket (which is why I think someone WILL bring it back eventually)... Meanwhile, I am just waiting... Keep in touch :)

On a good day I'm a speed bump on the info highway :) but will try to find a Good site with no viruses and then my Magic Unicorn will come and take me to the Mothership and off we will go "Where No One Has Gone Before" in search of the missing MP3 Rocket

That is the fifty thousand question.  If you find one, please share because we are all at a loss about them just closing shop with no warning.  I have tried to download a few but got a virus.  My IT Dept was able to clean it, but unless I know its safe i am not going to bother.  At this rate, I am ready to just get the music from apple or amazon.   Hopefully something will come around soon.
