2019-03 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1809 for x64-based Systems (KB4489899) -Error 0x8007371c
2019-02 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.7.2 for Windows 10 Version 1809 for x64 (KB4486553) -Error 0x800703f1
These two automatic updates failed. Any ideas?

Yes, That is the beauty of it. Just get a flash (min 8 Gigabytes) I bought one 16 Gb for 4 GBP from Amazon.
Go online and install media creation tool and let it download Windows 10.
Just click on downloa d tool now as above.
After you prepare your bootable flash drive with the tool, boot your computer to Windows and insert the
flash in a USB drive.
You are going to choose the upgrade option, but even if you do not know that the tool will check your computer and advise you accordingly.
I did that and I didn't have to re-install all the other software.

2019-03-22T17:02:19+00:00 People, I had the same problem and I solved it following this walkthrough from Microsoft. What did it for me was repairing Windows update with a media installation tool.

2019-03-21T06:23:32+00:00 I get the same issue also, when updating kb4489899. I tried a lot of steps to try to install kb4489899 and i got nothing. Is there another way to update without having to re-install windows 10 ?
I tried a lot but norhing worked out. It is a waste of your time. Re-installing is probably the easiest solution since you do not have to re-install other programs again.
