Minecraft Java and Windows 10 version

I have added a banner about the Minecraft offer, which has now ended, to the thread. As this thread is no longer current for this community, I am going to go ahead and lock this thread. 

Please can we be mind full of the Code of Conduct for this community. I understand that you will be frustrated, and how this will be a pain for you. However, violating the Code of Conduct is not the right thing to do. This just makes things worse for you. 

I would also recommend keeping up to date with developers Twitter feeds. This is where they announce news and updates for their products. So following them on there, and keeping up to date, will be a good step.

I don't see this option, I bought Minecraft for £18 in 2017, I then bought it for £20 on the PS4 and £20 on the Xbox and also Story Mode and now they want £25 to upgrade the PC version I already have.  Do one Mojang, I'm out.

Is Minecraft for Windows 10 included with the purchase of Minecraft: Java Edition?

Players who have purchased Minecraft: Java Edition before October 19th, 2018 can get Minecraft for Windows 10 for free by visiting their Mojang account. Log into account.mojang.com, and under the “My Games” heading you will find a button to claim your gift code. If you purchased Minecraft: Java Edition after October 19th, 2018, the button will not be there, so if you’re unsure of when you purchased Minecraft: Java Edition, that’s a good way to check. Pressing the button will generate a token and send you to a Microsoft redemption page.

If you have an older Minecraft account (you still log in with your username), visit this article to find out about account migration. Once you’ve migrated your account, you will be able to claim a code for Minecraft for Windows 10.

You must be signed into a Microsoft/Xbox Live account in order to redeem the code. Please note that you cannot move the license once the code has been redeemed. Your code is saved on your Mojang account page for future reference.

I did log in to my account, I bought minecraft back in 2016 of June but I cannot find the button where it says to redeem the free windows 10 edition. It says below "My Games" Minecraft Realm subscriptions.

I have the same issue because I bought the java edition in 2016, and I was excited to be able to get the windows 10 version for free since I'm an old member, but when I press the button to redeem the code on my Mojang account it brings me to Microsoft and it asks me for a code like I'm supposed to have it already (which I am, and was looking for).
