Hi!

This worked for my Creative Audigy 2 ZS and Windows 10 1903 update:

https://extreme.pcgameshardware.de/windows-7-8-1-und-10-windows-allgemein/540331-win-10-update-1903-soundblaster-kein-ton.html?highlight=audigy

Download "Audigy RX Driver" from Creative

Extract all files

Go to the folder "Audio\DriversWin10\wdm"

Right-click "wdma_emu.inf" and select "install"

Restart and enjoy!

Best regards!

Markus

20191106 EDIT:   A couple more days of testing showed that my fix described below (restarting CTAudSvcService) does not solve the problem of garbled audio upon resume from sleep.  In fact, sound (garbled) continues to be produced even when CTAudSvcService is stopped.

So I reinstalled the RX driver using \Audio\DriversWin10\setup.exe from Creative's L11_3_01_0056B driver .  This is a deviation from mmmarkuss's process, which installs wdma_emu.inf.  During that setup.exe process I selected the option "Overwrite existing shared Creative audio driver files".

More testing is required to determine if this \Audio\DriversWin10\setup.exe installation will reliably produce clean audio (not garbled) after resume from sleep.

Just for reference, the Device Manager shows 6.0.301.56 from 2018.08.14.  The 2018.08.14 date seems consistent with the timestamps of the unzipped driver download (despite the Creative's site dating the download as over a year later at 7 Oct 19).

    =========================

ORIGINAL POST (THIS DID NOT FIX THE GARBLED AUDIO AFTER RESUME FROM SLEEP):

mmmarkuss instructions worked perfectly.  However, the sound was frequently garbled after resume from sleep.  Rebooting solved the problem but the quicker solution was to Stop/Start the Creative Audio Service.  Below is the PowerShell command and the Task Scheduler config to automatically execute the PowerShell command after resume from sleep.

    RestartCreativeAudioService.ps1

    get-service -Name "CTAudSvcService" | Restart-Service

I deleted the lengthy remainder of the original post, which documented how to automate the restart of CTAudSvcService using the Task Scheduler.

when i try to install pop up a msg: "setup is unable to detect a supported product on your system. please ensure that your product is properly installed before running this setup. program".

Because is not a driver in a zip file is a Executable program.

where i found that folder?  "Audio\DriversWin10\wdm"

Thanks for the tip worked for me after installing another large flaming Windows Update yesterday that never seems to do anything but break my computer. This time it stopped my Audigy 2 soundcard from working. I thought I was going to have to fork out on another £100 card but this sorted it! Superb!! Cheers!!
