Hello same problem on one of our company pc running Windows 7 Pro 32bit. But this computer doesn't has any dual boot linux, just plain windows running on a ssd, which is the first boot device anyway.
KB4474419 will not install

2019-03-18T09:55:22+00:00 I guess it interferes with the update because the update writes some "tag" to do for the windows boot loader stage, which is not handled by the linux boot loader. Or when windows boots, he can't find the "tag" where he is supposed to find it.

2019-03-17T22:40:00+00:00 A risky solution could be to overwrite the bootloader with the Windows's boot loader.
Make the windows update.
Then overwrite the windows boot loader back with the linux boot loader.
If you know what you're doing.

2019-03-17T22:25:33+00:00 I have one disk for all 3 operating system that my system boots. So the disk that boots Windows is actually the first (and only) disk that is used to boot.
