KB4493509 fails to install

Hello everyone,

this is the first update since upgrade to 1809 that fails to install. I tried everything. Manual downloading, but even manual installing at the end just shows message, that the update couldn't be installed, without any errors. At Windows Update, it's shown an error 0x800f0982. I've done sfc /scannow, no corrupted files. I've done Restorehealth etc, and the error is still there. This is the first time that has happened to me. So should I wait for next update? Or what to do?

    Remove CCleaner and never use it again!

    (1) In case things get worse - now or when 1903 arrives - make a Windows system image backup. I finally had to restore one, & it went quick & well with hardly a decision to make (on my small & simple system)…

    (2) I like Douglas's suggestion. Because you & the site are both 1809, it amounts to an over-install of 1809. You get new system files, but 3rd-party apps & user files remain untouched. This is usually the next step  after DISM & SFC failed to be a fix.

    Yeah I checked for that update KB4493510 and it's installed. I've got no problem till this april update. And I really don't have energy and time for that anymore haha. Because I almost tried everything, just not Douglas solution. So I really just wanna wait for 1903 upgrade, or it will be something wrong, without that update KB4493509?

    I think this is my decision, and I like CCleaner. It never caused me a problem so...
