Hi Gordo,
yeah I am thinking more in a way that Microsoft really screwed up with 1809 version and these updates for this version. I can't install these updates either, always pops an error up. With which OS build are you stuck now?

Have been trying for several days now trying to get this latest Update to install. I've read every post I could find online, run every batch file to reset/clear updates services, run sfc, run malwarebytes (all clear), ran Dism utility, and finally reinstalled Windows10, twice - once from old iso about a year old, and one from a new download from MS yesterday. Still won't install! (Did reinstall Win10 keeping apps and data files.)
All Batch Files did what they were supposed to do, pretty sure anyway, resetting Windows update services.
SFC found nothing.
Clean Boot removing all services didn't help.
Dism /ScanHealth came back finding a repairable problem, but /RestoreHealth freezes around 86.5% and gives me a timeout error of 12002.
Malwarebytes found nothing.
Both re installs of windows 10 went without a hitch, and all updates EXCEPT Cumulative Update downloaded and installed properly.
I also found in one of the posts a batch file that was supposed to reset all permissions, which the above error supposedly indicates, and it went through without any errors, but still nothing.
Any other suggestions would really be appreciated.

Hi Monika,
Yep, tried as soon as I saw the nee update, but this one failed as well, same error code "0x80070005". Still searching online for any other solutions, but haven't found one that works yet. The only other option I may have, if updates keep failing, is to to a clean install of windows. Don't really want to do that and have to go through reinstalling programs, and having to contact companies to get activation keys reset, that takes a lot of time too. I'll keep trying in the mean time, and if you come up with anything short of clean install of windows, please let me know. Thanks again!
Hi Gordo again,
new update arrived KB4494441, did you try to update?
Same old news Monika,
Read EdwinL1 reply and thought maybe I missed something, so I tried one more time, never hurts! Still fails to install. I'll keep my fingers crossed that maybe someone will come up with a solution that works for me, before next update. And I hope the next update will install without a hitch. Thanks for replies Edwin & Monika.
Oh nice, I am glad that it worked for you! And no problem of course 😊
How is with you Gordo? Any new news?
