[DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE][Asus Vivobook S15 S510UN]Constant BSOD Windows 10[version: 1809]

Hi,

I am using Asus Vivobook S15 S510UN running windows 10 1809[OS build:17763.253], I have been facing regular DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE and  VIDEO_DXGKRNL_FATAL_ERROR BSOD after windows 10 october update. 

I tried different fixes mentioned in forums and even tried to many nvidia drivers from one mentioned in Asus website and also from nvidia website[Using DDU]. But till now i couldn't able to get past BSOD. So i thought sharing here. 

Below you can find last 3 Mini dump file[and one Memory.DMP after latest crash], Msinfo32 and nirsoft driver view details. So any suggestions and solutions can be really helpful.

    Hello Karthik,

    I have same laptop and have been facing same issue since last 5-6 months, for cure I went to service center several times, in first attempt they updated my laptop but the problem persisted, next time they repaired the ram, again the problem persisted, next time they replaced the ram ,still no cure, also my warranty is about to expire.

    one thing I want to point out is after replacing ram I was using 1809 I guess and the BSOD problem didn't occur, but windows defender automatically turned off, for which online Microsoft advocate updated my windows version to 1903.And since I had this BSOD for about more than 100 times and yes I am using version 1903, OS BUILD 18362.356 and BSOD has caused me some serious damages in my work, time, money and reputation. Do let us know when you get any cure.

    I think there is no software solution.

    I just used the warranty repair. The service center has completely replaced the motherboard.

    I just want to give a quick update on 1903.

    I am using 1903 from last 1 month on Asus Vivobook S15, and i have to say that it is working damn good without any issues till now and even i have been playing games like cities skylines, CS GO without a single BSOD.

    Currently i am on version 1903 and build 18362.295.

    So if anybody who have some spare time or who wants try out something new for the weekend( and also who knows how to revert back to old version if something goes wrong), please try installing the 1903.

    Followings are the experience that i had while updating to 1903:

    1. Updated to 1903 and i had BSOD as similar to 1809.
    2. Tried updating Nvidia drivers from Nvidia website and Asus website, again no luck.
    3. So came back Latest Nvidia driver available in Asus website.( BSOD was still present even with OEM drivers)
    4. Finally i thought of reverting back to old version of windows using recovery option in setting. But windows pop up came suggesting to try new cumulative update.
    5. So I gave it a shot and updated to build 18362.295.

    And YESSSS! Finally i got a working machine with no Nvidia driver issue that was causing BSOD.[No single BSOD till date]

    If possible please try installing 1903 and share your feedback.

    Caution: Please try only if you know how to revert back if something goes wrong.

    No luck for me.

    Just updated to 1903 and install this drivers from Asus website. Still got DXGKRNL FATAL ERROR :(

    This was my last Asuspurchase .I will no longer buy their products.

    Which version of intel and nvidia drivers are you using now?

    Nvidia GeForce MX150: 23.21.13.8873

    Intel UHD Graphics 620: 24.20.100.6286

    BIOS: 309
