How to stop Yourphone.exe process in Windows 10?

I have noticed that … Yourphone.exe … is running all the time.

Can this app be stopped from starting and if so … How do you stop it? ...

Hi Kenneth

Open the Settings App (gear icon on your Start Menu)

Go to Privacy - Background Apps

From there you should be able to stop the Your Phone App and other Apps form running in the background of Windows 10

    I'm using a PC that doesn't even have a microphone let alone anything resembling a phone. Why has this even been installed?! Just more bloat...?

    Nah, it's just completely useless but Microsoft doesn't let you get rid of it as far as I know.

     

    it is not useless,it allows you to sync your phone for some features

    Presumably it only works with Windows phones, which no one uses! Can't think of anything else I'd want to sync with my PC.
