How to stop Yourphone.exe process in Windows 10?

I have noticed that … Yourphone.exe … is running all the time.

Can this app be stopped from starting and if so … How do you stop it? ...

Hi Kenneth

Open the Settings App (gear icon on your Start Menu)

Go to Privacy - Background Apps

From there you should be able to stop the Your Phone App and other Apps form running in the background of Windows 10

    Comment supprimer l'application Your Phone de Windows 10:

    1. Ouvrez le menu Démarrer»tapez Windows PowerShelldans la zone de recherche» Cliquez avecle bouton droit sur le premier élément qui apparaît dans les résultats ( Windows PowerShell) »sélectionnez Exécuter en tant qu'administrateur.
    2. Exécutez la commande suivante et appuyez sur Entrée. 
       Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.YourPhone -AllUsers | Remove-AppxPackage

    Vous devrez peut-être trouver le | symbole dans "Table des caractères", qui se trouve sous Programmes> Accessoires Windows> Outils système> Table des caractères. C'est dans la 12e colonne et la cinquième rangée plus bas, si cela aide!

    Il suffit simplement de faire un copier de Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.YourPhone -AllUsers | Remove-AppxPackage puis un coller une fois dans Windows PowerShel

    Hi drummer John!

    Rather than sending folks off chasing around after the vertical slash I found that simply copying your command and pasting it into powershell worked just fine.

    Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.YourPhone -AllUsers | Remove-AppxPackage

    Now.....as to whether it actually worked or not, we'll have to see after tomorrow morning's start up.

    At least it didn't crash out or throw and nasty messages back at me :)

    How to remove Your Phone app from Windows 10:

    1. Open Start menu » type Windows PowerShell in the search box » Right-click on the first item that appears in the results (Windows PowerShell) » select Run as Administrator.
    2. Issue the following command and press Enter. 
       Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.YourPhone -AllUsers | Remove-AppxPackage

    You may have to find the | symbol in "Character Map", which is under Programs > Windows Accessories > System Tools > Character Map. It's in the 12th column across and fifth row down, if that helps!
