This is precisely why I use Pushbullet and gave up on this product. Unreal and ridiculous.
Great suggestion DavidGill2, Pushbullet simply works! Thanks!

My android is stuck in a loop saying " We're checking one more thing on your PC before we ask for a final permission, while my PC stuck on" We need permission to connect and access data onyour phone. Please check your phone and tap allow."

I echo that. I don't know why the Microsoft phone app stopped working all of a sudden, I tried everything - spending more than an hour clearing caches, reinstalling apps etc. Nothing.
PushBullet will do for now. The interface isn't as clean but it does work. (Added later: it works very well. I like it.)
I just hope there's no security risk :(
Same experience as many others: just stopped working. Given up. Pushbullet looks fine and works.
Does MS do *any* testing nowadays?
Exact same issue here as well. 1903 and Android 9 on a G7 Power from Motorola. Used to work fine until maybe 1 week ago, after that Continue on PC started to fail (no notifications, after that no Edge windows opened either), and now trying to relink them fails as well.
Nice.
I use a Mac and iPhone and the connectivity is seamless. I have never had a problem texting from my Mac through my iPhone. I am glad that Microsoft is providing similar functionality. However, I hope they soon stabilize this feature. It is unstable in comparison to Apple's implementation.
