    Holy ****.

This solution worked for me after trying everything else.
I followed your steps in the EXACT order and with the EXACT steps.
I think the difference from what I was doing was signing in on the PC first so it would get stuck. I signed in all the way on the phone first and then moved to the PC in the last step and it worked. Bless you.

    OnePlus 7 Pro
    Latest version of Win10 Pro
    Worked as of 05.04.21

    Got it working...

    Phone:  Samsung Note 10+

    Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.18363.535] (1909)

    ensure the following:

    1)  On android > Settings > search for Notification Access > Notification Access > Find Link to Windows and enable

    2)  Disable Pi-Hole or any tracker blocking software you have

    3)  On Windows reset the Your Phone app in Settings > Apps & Features > Your Phone > Advanced Options > Repair, Also do the Reset.

    4)  On your Android device clear cache and clear data of app in > Settings > Apps > Your Phone Companion, Force Stop > Storage> Clear cache, Clear data

    5)  Uninstall updates and re-enable or Update Your Phone Companion

    6)  Launch Your Phone Companion on Android.  I found this part troublesome as it wasn't showing up in my launcher.  To handle this I installed it from the Google Play Store.  After this it showed up in my Finder app search application.  Once this was running it asked me to sign in to the app.  Take it to the next screen after signing in and then move to your PC.

    7)  Start Your Phone app on Windows 10.  At this point, I was then sent the text notification on my PC.  Nothing to do here other than Accept.

    I hope this helps someone.

    Hi,

Try this, if you are stuck on Check Your PC:

    1. If you have multiple accounts in Windows, check "Shared Experience Settings" in Windows and click on "Fix Now".

    2. Right-click on "Your Phone" app in Start Menu and select "Settings", it will sync with your phone and send notification to your mobile.

After that it will automatically ask on your mobile for required access (accessibility, notification access, etc.).

    Thanks :)

This was a godsend. Thank you so much for posting this...I had been at this for MONTHS and couldn't figure it out. If someone is reading this with a problem...don't give up hope...use this advice here and hopefully it will also fix your issue.

That is why finally worked for me. I started the "link to my pc" first, then when it was searching, I started "send notification" from Your Phone and Hazah! Many thanks.

I spent a couple days trying to figure out how to connect my S20 to my pc via the Your Phone app. After trying many, many suggestions, I finally figured it out. To start, I reset both the Your Phone - Link to Windows Android app and Your Phone Windows application.

I have a mesh network so my phone connects wirelessly while my laptop directly connects via ethernet to the same network. I decided to unplug my wifi extender nodes and disconnect the ethernet from my laptop so both my phone and PC were connected wireless to the primary wifi router. Once they were connected, Your Phone was finally able to connect my devices! I have since plugged in my wifi extender node and ethernet and app works fine.

    I hope this helps!
