hi I want to connect my android device to my hp windows 10 pro using the "You Phone' and " Phone Companion" but there is is know connection even though they are both connected to a WIFI hotspot from another device. My android is stuck in a loop saying " We're checking one more thing on your PC before we ask for a final permission, while my PC stuck on" We need permission to connect and access data onyour phone. Please check your phone and tap allow."

2021-04-11T19:08:48+00:00 I had the same issue. Turns out having "Access Work or School Account" connected to my PC was the problem. I removed the Work accounts and it's now working.

2021-04-15T00:26:55+00:00 Good day everyone. First thing to do is to re-install your "Phone Companion" on Google Play Store on your Android Device. Then, go to app settings ⚙ on you PC, open "Your Phone", then click on "repair" and "terminate". Once done, open you reinstalled "Phone Companion" on your android device. Enjoy. Don't forget to turn on BT.

Go to mobile settings▶Apps▶Your Phone companion▶clear data
After this, Open app in PC first and then Android mobile.
Do appropriate steps and your app will work fine.
Not necessarily to connect via Wi-Fi router.
Problem not solved, then reply here.
