I don't have this "Restrict Networks" option under Data usage. I have a Galaxy 10 and there is no such option. Any alternate settings I can change for the same effect?

hi I want to connect my android device to my hp windows 10 pro using the "You Phone' and " Phone Companion" but there is is know connection even though they are both connected to a WIFI hotspot from another device. My android is stuck in a loop saying " We're checking one more thing on your PC before we ask for a final permission, while my PC stuck on" We need permission to connect and access data onyour phone. Please check your phone and tap allow."

2020-10-29T19:23:49+00:00 I managed to fix this issue by starting the setup on my phone first and then opening the companion app on the computer, it seems if you start the process from the PC first, the phone can't receive its prompt for you to allow it to send notifications.

you won't believe how I solved it!!!!
I've a Dell laptop so I went back to Dell Mobile Connect following https://www.windowslatest.com/2018/01/15/install-dell-mobile-connect-app-windows-10/?linkId=64176106
When I finished connecting with Dell Mobile Connect, My Phone Connection appeared at 90% connection (I was stuck at 60%). So, from my mobile I tried to connect again to following the wizard and failed again at 60% but when closed and opened again it worked only asking for permissions. Unbelievable!!
I don't understand how My phone can fail on the easiest part when Samsung Flow o Dell Mobile Connect do it easily.

2020-10-22T04:14:31+00:00 Had the same issue so I Uninstalled the Your phone app in my phone and reinstalled and saw I had a different account on my phone so clicked on Sign in with different account and breezed right through to the end
