When will be the next update to fix the problem of missing the toggle to turn off the adaptive brightness in windows update 1809? This is a big issue for me in work.  Waiting for your immediate answer.

I am Using Windows 10 64 bit and currently updated to build 1809 (latest)

Laptop: Acer Swift 3

Thank You!

I checked out that site and your suggestions BUT MY Control Panels for BOTH Intel & Nividia don't have those options to disable and don't even look like the ones displayed,

BOTH panels are recently updated so its not that.

And the suggestion to use trouble shooter on Power and then reset driver doesn't ever work since 1809. this was only fixed by Windows last December bit came back with 1903.

If the screenshot from the intel control panel is from your PC, the option is there. Set "Display power saving technology" to "disable"

K did it. Actually I tried that before too.

    Even did a restart.

The brightness still does not change from plugged in to battery. just stays at wherever I set it last.

Right now plugged is at 100% brightness

    Battery was at 80%.

So basically I'm at 100% brightness all the time.

Again this was working after 1809 fix but 1903 screwed it up again.

Oh..... I thought your issue was adaptive brightness constantly changing your brightness up and down.....

are you saying that after disabling "Display power saving technology" your brightness doesn't automatically change between plugged in and battery but you can change it manually or you can't change it at all?
