When will be the next update to fix the problem of missing the toggle to turn off the adaptive brightness in windows update 1809? This is a big issue for me in work.  Waiting for your immediate answer.

I am Using Windows 10 64 bit and currently updated to build 1809 (latest)

Laptop: Acer Swift 3

Thank You!

I know my method isn't technically a "Fix" for me it was just a temporarily solution until an official fix comes. All I wanted was to increase my contrast a bit to make the brightness as if there's no adaptive anymore. It seems that the only thing we can do at the moment is mess around with the graphics settings. I think the reason it won't work for everyone is due to different displays.

The night-light is something different & working fine here w/o any issue.

Am looking for the brightness effect against changes of power status (power/battery). Screen brightness will automatically be DIM when running on battery & vise-e-versa.

yeah same here since 1809. then they fixed it and then 1903 screwed it up.

BTW adaptive brightness is NOW GONE and resetting drivers WONT FIX IT so don't bother

So this issue persists for others still even after the last updates?
