When will be the next update to fix the problem of missing the toggle to turn off the adaptive brightness in windows update 1809? This is a big issue for me in work.  Waiting for your immediate answer.

I am Using Windows 10 64 bit and currently updated to build 1809 (latest)

Laptop: Acer Swift 3

Thank You!

    The fix can be out any time as this issue is reported to Microsoft. Microsoft doesn't release a calendar of its fixes, so no timeframe can be given. But it will definitely get fixed. Just keep your Windows up to date.

    Again, what is the OS build number?  hit the Windows key, type winver, hit the enter key.

    You will get a popup like this;

    I also noticed that the adaptive brightness option is gone on my asus vivobook s after the 1809 update.

    Also faced a strange issue, the brightness of the screen once suddenly became too low even at 100%. But it got back to normal after a restart. Haven't ever faced such issue on the earlier build.
