Missing display / toggle for adaptive brightness in windows update 1809

When will be the next update to fix the problem of missing the toggle to turn off the adaptive brightness in windows update 1809? This is a big issue for me in work.  Waiting for your immediate answer. 

I am Using Windows 10 64 bit and currently updated to build 1809 (latest)

    October 27th 2020, still an issue

    AMD Ryzen processor, NVIDIA 2060 Super

    I seem to have NO WAY TO STOP THIS. It's driving me NUTS.

    well from a none expert...

    that Inter Graphic driver is OK but really useless. Diesnt really work right. install it but it really wont solve your issue. As the previous person said Adaptive Brightness is gone. The only really easy way to deal with that now is to use the Battery Saver mode. It will lower your screen brightness on battery to a Windows preset level and will really extend your battery. After you plug it  in the brightness will go back to your brightness level.

    This is why many of us were going nuts with 2004 update and where Battery Saver in the notifications window did NOT work. Now that's fixed too with recent Optional Updates to 2004. you can check thru this Board link -  https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/battery-saver-button-not-working/da28365f-3b8d-4a01-950e-df04df66d7c9?page=1 BUT the end results is... Battery Saver is fixed so use that.

    Just remember that Battery Saver will restrict certain app functions so do everything you need and then turn on Saver.

    I follow this thread for a long time from the very beginning of the problem. Now I have Win ver 1909. But when the setting was available I set up 80% brightness when laptop uses battery and 100% when power is plugged in.

    So this already works: I have no access to settings but I still have 100% with power plugged and 80% from battery. And I think we all have to search somewhere in registry. Windows keeps this setting somewhere and there should be workaround to adjust it without user interface.

    Unfortunately I can't make an experiment: install old version of Win 10 where this setting was still available, save registry to file, change brightness settings and compare registries. May be someone here can?
