When will be the next update to fix the problem of missing the toggle to turn off the adaptive brightness in windows update 1809? This is a big issue for me in work. Waiting for your immediate answer.
I am Using Windows 10 64 bit and currently updated to build 1809 (latest)
Laptop: Acer Swift 3
Thank You!

Checking in with a Lenovo Thinkpad with the same issue.
Why the !@!#@!@$@!R% did Microsoft think that taking away such a feature was a good thing? I have to wait for my screen to brighten every time it goes from black to something lighter than black (and guess what, I'm a frequent night-mode user whenever possible, so it happens a LOT).
Just make my screen be the same damn brightness.
Oh, and for the record, it's not like disabling adaptive brightness ever did anything to stop this issue in the first place. 2 years I've been trying to find a solution to this mess of a "feature" and 2 years I've been frustrated.
It's enough to make someone switch to a Mac, and I really, REALLY don't want to do that.
Just stop messing with stuff, Microsoft! You peaked with Windows 7 anyway.
So frustrating having a new computer and having this annoying issue
Been there done that - many times. roll back too.
that does NOT help.
And your comment: "Dimmed display brightness, and Enable adaptive brightness."
IS GONE SINCE 1809 - THAT'S THE ISSUE!!!!!!!!!!
