Why is there no "troubleshoot hardware & devices" in 1809 update?

I have looked everywhere in settings & control panel, & there is no longer a troubleshooter for hardware & devices. All of the other troubleshoot options are still listed , & there is no "view all." In 1803 I could access it in " update & security" then chose "troubleshoot" & it was the 4th one listed under "find & fix other problems" where "keyboard" is now. Unless Microsoft will come up with a fix, I guess the only solution is to go back to 1803?

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

Please note that Hardware and Device troubleshooter was removed from Windows 10 starting from the build version 1809. The Hardware & Devices troubleshooter had the lowest daily usage was usually run in tandem with other troubleshooters, therefore it was determined it was no longer needed and specific troubleshooters should be used instead (i.e. Bluetooth, audio, etc.).

    Windows 10 grief -- I have a new external hard drive that file explorer doesn't recognize. The support instructions say to use the hardware and devices troubleshooter. There isn't one. There isn't a troubleshooter that mentions USB port problems. Please help

    I have (Code 38) error while trying to use USB flashdrive.

    How to solve the problem without Hardware and Device troubleshooter?

    Windows 10 pro.

    Hardware & Device troubleshooter detects missing or failed drivers in version 1803 which was a common occurrence.  After installing version 1809 my "mail notifications" has stopped working.

    my dvd cd rom stopped working after update 1809 cant see a disk please insert disk no trouble shooter no work i may have to go back to 03 or toss my cd rom by the way i tried my usb cd player same thing DONT WORK ANYMORE thank you for all you good work on FIXING THIS
